I would like to share with you the main obstacle that is preventing you and almost every person from growing past your current level of existence. This obstacle is the scariest thing in your life and you may not even know it. If you overcome this one thing, or even diminish it, you will take a giant step toward greater success in any area of your life.

How would you like to discover something that could instantly move you into a bigger and better life? Well, the main obstacle that is in your way of achieving more, living more and experiencing more life in every area is FEAR. No, not just any fear but primarily the fear of yourself. Almost all people are afraid of whom they desire to become or else they would step right into the aspired success.

What is fear? Where does it come from? How can we get rid of it or at least manage it so it doesn’t ruin our lives?

Fear is nothing more than fantasy, negative thoughts about the future. Although we can be regretful of the past, it is no longer scary to us because it is history. The present time is not so scary. It is the future, the unknown, things of tomorrow, that we have the inclination to be afraid of in our lives.

Since fear is nothing more than negative thinking, and negative thinking is nothing more than a thought, fear isn’t real—it is simply thought energy. As a matter of fact, 84% of what we fear never comes into fruition, 14% of what we fear, we have the ability to change, and only 4% of what we fear is out of our control.

Although fearful thoughts are basically not real, they manipulate and manage our realities and prevent us from living a successful life. If you are basing your real life on fantasizing, negative thoughts, you will not be able to make logical decisions. This type of distorted decision making process is the cause of much confusion for many people.

Fear based decision making processes usually will give you negative results for multiple reasons. First, the fact that, “Our lives are what we think about most of the time,” is a well known principle. If you are thinking fearful thoughts, your reference for life is fear. Second, if you are trying to come-up with logical solutions to your “real” problems, using illogical fear based thinking, you are going to end-up confused.

Remember when we were children and you would play the “spinning game?” This is the game where you stand-up, with arms stretched-out to the sides, and spin around and around as fast as you can. After doing the spinning game for a few minutes, you stop spinning and everything is still moving around and around. You can’t get your bearings and usually lose your balance that causes you to fall to the ground. This is what fear does to our conscious and sub-conscious minds!

Fear produces confusion and prevents you from being able to use sound judgment.
